With internships at companies across the country canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Natural Light has some good news. The company is looking for the perfect candidate for their unforgettable remote summer internship. One individual will have the opportunity to work with Natty Light’s brewers and flavor experts to create the next great flavor innovation — all while working from home and earning $40/hour.

Vice President of U.S. Value Brands at Anheuser-Busch Daniel Blake says, “We know how crucial internships are for our fans and how summer work experiences are the launching pad for their future success. We just couldn’t let the current situation overshadow this important step in their careers. That’s why we’re forging ahead with the Natty Light summer internship and evolving it to tackle a big task: creating the next Natty flavor innovation.”

Last year, Natural Light released the number-one new beer of 2019, Naturdays, a strawberry lemonade-flavored beer. They also joined the ranks of White Claw and Truly in the hard seltzer market by introducing Natural Light Seltzer. This year’s intern will follow these innovative beverages by contributing their own input on every aspect of a new product, working on conception, taste, packaging, and more.

The 2019 Natty Light summer internship candidate pool was extremely competitive, with almost 12,000 applicants. This year, Natty Light wants applicants to post a photo, drawing, or tweet of their Natty Light flavor idea with the hashtags #NattyIntern and #contest, in addition to submitting their application on Indeed.com

If chosen for the internship, you’ll spend your summer tasting unique flavor combinations while working to create the new Natty Light flavor. You'll research flavor mixology trends, get to know the product (by drinking the beer and seltzer sent to you), and vlog it all for social media. You can apply for this once-in-a-lifetime internship from April 28 to May 15, and the gig will last from June 8 to July 31. To apply, you must be 21 and up and have “a strong supply of Zoom backgrounds and big creative energy,” according to the listing. You can find the full rules here.
