Dos Equis Just Made the Perfect Social Distancing Cooler — Here's How to Get One Free

Dos Equis wants you to have some responsible fun this summer. To assist that effort the beer company is coming out with what can only be described as the perfect social distancing product: The Seis-Foot Cooler.

Indeed, Dos Equis really is offering up a six-foot cooler to help people maintain a proper social distance while hanging with friends at the beach, BBQs, or anywhere in between.

“This Summer of Dos, meet up with a drinking buddy from a comfortably safe six feet apart,” Dos Equis said about its new creation. “The Seis-Foot Cooler is part beer cooler, part social distancing measurement device.”

According to the beer brand, the massive cooler can hold a 12 pack of beer, with six beers on each side, to allow everyone to have a little fun in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic. The best part? The beer company is giving the coolers away for free this Friday, June 26.

All people need to do to score one is buy some Dos Equis, upload the receipt on June 26 at 11 a.m. Eastern, and claim their cooler. But, you better act fast because the coolers will likely fly off the shelves.

"Unfortunately we aren’t publicizing how many free coolers are available, just know quantities are extremely limited and it’s a good idea to be online and submit your receipt right at 11 a.m. on Friday if you want one," a spokesperson for the brand told Thrillist. "Fans who aren’t able to get a cooler but still want to drink responsibly, responsibly with Dos Equis can receive either $5 off or free shipping through Drizly."

If you don’t get one that’s okay. You can always stack a few coolers side-by-side to remind you of the importance of social distancing this summer. This way, everyone can stay happy, healthy, and safe while still enjoying the company of friends and family.
