Whether it's one of the most breathtaking views in the world, a completely unique location, or a cocktail you simply can't find anywhere else, these bars are more than just watering holes.

These 17 bars around the world include everything from an establishment inside a millions-years-old cave to one that serves up cocktails based on favorite perfumes.

Buza Bar in Dubrovnik, Croatia

Game of Thrones fans will enjoy locating the hidden Buza Bar in Dubrovnik, Croatia, as its nearby streets and magnificent views have often been the backdrop for the show.

A literal hole in the wall, the bar leads curious travelers to a charming drinking spot on cliffs hugging the ocean with breathtaking views over the Adriatic Sea.

Sky Bar in Bangkok, Thailand

Suspended at a height of 820 feet over Bangkok, Thailand’s Sky Bar is one of the world’s highest rooftop bars and includes illuminated LED lights that allow it to change every few hours.

The bar and its stunning views were featured in films like “The Hangover Part II”, with playful drinks like the Hangovertini devoted to its crew and cast.

The Bar at Hotel Palacio de Sal in Potosí,  Bolivia

Head to the bar at the Hotel Palacio de Sal, located on the banks of Bolivia’s Salar de Uyuni, to grab a drink with a salty twist.

Almost everything in the resort is made out of salt, including the building itself and many pieces of the furniture found throughout.

Fragrances in Berlin, Germany

At Fragrances in the Ritz Carlton, in Berlin, customers are invited in to sample drinks based off of popular perfumes, from Giorgio Armani and Bulgari to Salvatore Ferragamo.

An interactive Hall of Fame lets guests sniff the various scents and pick out a drink of choice, which can be served in unusual items like an oversized strawberry with cotton candy or a birdhouse.

Baba Nest in Phuket, Thailand

Located in the Sri Panwa resort in Phuket, Thailand, Baba Nest is famous for its 360-degree views over the city, the Andaman Sea, and the nearby islands that dot the water.

Visitors to the rooftop bar will find cozy beanbags and a sprawling infinity pool that makes the scene look all the more gorgeous.

Cloud 9 in the Mamanuca Islands

As Fiji’s only two-level floating lounge bar and restaurant serving up an international drinks menu alongside wood-fired pizzas, Cloud 9 offers visitors a drinking experience they’ll never forget.

Situated in the waters of the Ro Ro Reef in the Mamanuca Islands (the bar recently relocated), Cloud 9 features sundecks with day beds, hanging chairs, bar stools, an onboard DJ, and activities like jet skiing and parasailing to enjoy in between drinks.

Rick's Cafe in Negril, Jamaica

For a beach bar unlike any other, head to Rick’s Cafe in Negril, Jamaica, famous today for its unparalleled sunset views and its breathtaking location above cliffs overlooking the water.

The buzzing bar is also known for the professional divers that will often head to its cliffs and plunge down 60 feet into the ocean.

The bar is the world's highest open-air champagne bar, offering customers exclusive tastings on select champagne selections by the bottle of by flute.

The Old Forge in Inverie, Scotland

Head to Scotland's most remote bar, The Old Forge, which sits in a stunning scenery in the Inverie village.

The bar, which is also considered the most remote in mainland Britain, has a wide variety of ales, venison and seafood that is sourced within a seven-mile radius, and instruments that line its walls for customers who want to play.
