The Star Wars Cantina Is Coming to Los Angeles
You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy than at Los Angeles’s Star Wars Cantina pop-up.
The pop-up experience describes itself as “the best place to go in Hollywood if you're looking to find a pilot with a ship that can outrun an imperial cruiser.” The immersive food and drink experience hopes to transport guests into the infamous cantina of Tatooine.
The first part of each night will only be open to those who made a reservation. Each reservation will include two-hour access to the pop-up, two drinks, a souvenir pint glass, an official Scum and Villainy coin and “other surprises.” At 11 p.m., the cantina will open up to walk-ins and stay open until 2 a.m.
The menu aims to be “authentic galactic” and costume is encouraged, so it’s safe to assume that the creators will be pulling out all the stops.
There aren’t any firm details yet on the dates of the pop-up, nor exactly where it will be. Reservations will start opening up on Scum and Villainy’s website next week.
We only know one thing for sure: Just like in the film, your droids will have to wait outside.
Now cue that cantina theme song.
