This Budapest bar offers — you guessed it — a 360 degree-view of the city and surrounding scenery. The 360 Bar drink menu has something for everyone, whether you’re into neat pours, classic cocktails or one of their signature creations. Stick around for a tasty Mediterranean food menu and energetic DJ sets.

The Beach Bar at Stokkøya Sjøsenter — Stokkøy, Norway

If a Scandinavian summer is what you crave, then a trip to these idyllic, beachside holiday residences is in order. The beautiful on-property Beach Bar is light-filled and modern, designed with floor to ceiling windows so guests can catch a glimpse of the Norwegian Sea and nearby Halten lighthouse. Relax with a nice cocktail or glass of wine as you dine on fresh seafood.

This sunny waterfront bar is on the picturesque DC Wharf, and it offers colorful tropical decor along with a rooftop deck for those looking for a tiki fix. Tiki TNT owner Todd Thrasher is also responsible for neighboring Potomac Distilling Company where he makes his namesake rum for the bar’s drinks. Think classics like Mai Tais and Zombies, along with signature creations like the Frozen Spiced Rum in Coke.

Bar Moinho — Cascais, Portugal

Situated on the sparkling blue waters of Portugal’s Carcavelos beach, Bar Moinho is the perfect place to spend a day on the shore. The drink to try here is the Morangoska, which is an icy blend of strawberries and vodka. Come in the afternoon for a couple of libations and a snack, and stay for the sunset.

Decked out in brass and dark stone, the rooms at this Perth hotel offer a luxe, modern feel. But we’re really here for the Rooftop at QT, an open-air lounge perched on the 18th floor. While you take in the city views, sip on a signature drink like the Monkey Mia, mixed with rum, banana liqueur, lime, coconut and macadamia syrup.

12th Knot has an impressive backbar, so the skilled team can whip up pretty much anything you desire. The interior space still offers stunning views, just in case London summer weather doesn’t want to cooperate.

Prater Biergarten — Berlin, Germany

As the oldest beer garden in Berlin, Prater Biergarten is the place to be when summertime hits. You can find the diverse crowd sipping on Prater’s signature brews and German wines, and snacking on traditional plates like grilled sausages and pretzels. Remember to bring plenty of cash as this bar doesn’t accept credit cards.

Beach Bar Pacino — Pula, Croatia

Tucked behind the Brioni Sunny campsite is this gem of a beach bar that’s popular with locals and tourists alike. Expect to find an energetic international crowd sipping cocktails on chaise lounges and relaxing under colorful tiki umbrellas. Come nightfall, Beach Bar Pacino hosts a rotating roster of DJs to help you dance the night away on the white sand.

This pop-up bar at Williamsburg’s Wythe Hotel brings all the vibes of the Italian coast with the Manhattan skyline as the backdrop. Bright pops of yellow and orange are an appealing contrast to Lemon’s lush greenery, and the space opens both to a covered outdoor bar and open air terrace to enjoy. Grab a Spritz and watch the sun set over the big city.

Tranquilo — Santorini, Greece

While some people flock to the Greek Islands for the raucous partying, Tranquilo is where locals and vacationers go to get a dose of wellness. Sure, they serve fresh fruit cocktails and host fire dancers in the evening hours. But a vegetarian and vegan-friendly menu, plus yoga classes set in front of the Mediterranean, will rejuvenate you after a week of hot summer sun.

While the pool is reserved for hotel guests, anyone can enjoy cocktails and Peruvian fare from Chef Gastón Acurio. Refresh yourself on a hot day with Terrat’s signature Margarita Reposada, which features yuzu juice for an extra citrusy kick.

This chic boutique hotel is a best bet if you’re traveling to Tel Aviv, and the property’s Rooftop Bar is one of our favorite spots in the city. During the day, the space features a jacuzzi, soaking tub and open air showers to cool you down after sunbathing. Come nightfall, the wine and cocktails flow as the city’s coolest crowds get in on the action.

Cloud 9 — Mamanuca Islands, Fiji

If Cloud 9 isn’t a pure slice of paradise, we don’t know what is. You have to hop on a boat, jet ski or seaplane to reach this double-decker floating bar that’s surrounded by nothing by turquoise water and coral reef, but the journey is totally worth the reward. This floating brewery and restaurant in Tokyo’s up-and-coming waterfront district Tennozu Isle is a peaceful place to grab a beer and enjoy a tranquil moment in the bustling city.
