Take a trip down the rabbit hole and you may find some delicious (and curious) cocktails.

The Mad Hatter’s (Gin &) Tea Party, a popular, traveling pop-up that has already entertained guests in Los Angeles and London, is coming to New York City between May and July 2020.

The cocktail event, which has already served over 25,000 happy customers, is a whimsical, "Alice In Wonderland" themed party with craft cocktails, teatime snacks, and of course, amazing costumes.

Hosted by the Mad Hatter, and other equally mad characters from Lewis Carroll’s beloved book, "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland," the cocktail experience lasts for an hour and a half and includes a small welcome drink, three specialty craft cocktails (served in teacups), small pastries and other bite-sized snacks, and your own Mad Hatter’s hat to wear during the party.

This event is clearly a perfect option for book lovers, people looking for quirky after-work activities, or anyone celebrating a very merry un-birthday.

All “tea” cocktails are crafted with gin, though there are non-alcoholic options available, as well as vegan, gluten-free, and allergy-friendly food options. All attendees must be over 21 years of age.

Depending on which date you’d like to attend, start times will vary. Thursdays and Fridays offer tea times at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m., Saturday times are open at 12 p.m., 2 p.m., 4 p.m., 6 p.m., and 8 p.m. and Sunday's times are 2 p.m., 4 p.m., 6 p.m., and 8 p.m.

Currently, there is no location announced for these events. “Our Mad Tea Party will take place in a secret Wonderland garden somewhere in New York,” it says on the Mad Hatter’s (Gin &) Tea Party website. The location will be revealed closer to the event. Curiouser and curiouser.

Pre-sale tickets are currently $65 per person. Some times may already be sold out. In order to book a ticket, visit the event’s page on Fever Up.
