Catch a Flight to the Caribbean for Less Than $150 Round-trip
Grab your sandals and sunscreen.
For as little as $146 round-trip, travelers can jet from New York City, Boston, or Washington, D.C. to Martinique and Guadeloupe.
The deal, spotted by the Airfare Spot, is for non-stop flights from mid-November until the end of March on Norwegian Air Shuttle.
The low-cost carrier recently launched seasonal flights to Martinique, the newest Caribbean hot spot.
Both destinations are low profile, and home to countless crowd-free beaches dotted with charming Provençal houses and seaside Creole restaurants. Martinique is hailed as one of the best Caribbean islands for foodies: Look for haute Parisian fare with tropical ingredients, like foie gras with green bananas or smoked marlin with avocado.
We suggest waiting until the final swells of the Atlantic hurricane season subside to plan your trip to the Lesser Antilles.
