Sure, summer vacation is right around the corner, but JetBlue is already one step ahead of you by holding a sale that will make you count the days until fall arrives. For two days only, JetBlue’s “Type A” sale will be offering deep discounts, as low as $54, for travelers between Sept. 9 and Nov. 20, with blackout dates between September 30 and October 1, October 12 and October 14, and November 7 and November 11. These blackout dates mainly coincide with holidays like Veteran’s Day and Columbus Day (or Indigenous People’s Day in some cities). Anyone who wants to cash in on the deal must book between now and May 30 at 11:59 p.m. EST or local time. Some one-way fares for $54 include flights from New York City to Burlington, Vermont, Sacramento to Long Beach (and vice versa), and Charleston to Washington D.C. Some other notable one way fares include Boston to Philadelphia for $59 and Boston to New York for $94, Chicago to Fort Lauderdale for $89, New York to Fort Lauderdale for $99, Atlanta to Orlando for $64, Fort Lauderdale to Aruba for $119, New York to Austin for $134, Fort Lauderdale to the Bahamas for $74, and New York to Turks & Caicos for $214. JetBlue, in particular, has many deeply discounted flights to Caribbean destinations.
