The airline’s two-day sale — which was supposed to end on Wednesday — is good on travel from March 18 through June 18, with blackout periods from April 8 through 23 and again May 21 through 25. You can fly any day Monday through Thursday for sale rates. You just have to book your airfare before the sale ends at 11:59 p.m. (eastern or local time, whichever is earlier). Customers were alerted to the sale extension via email (but directed to its original link for booking) with the message, "As if you needed another reason to work or study remotely," nodding to precautions schools and businesses are taking amid the coronavirus outbreak. Many universities as well as high-profile companies including Google have asked students and employees to work from home. The sale includes many of JetBlue’s most beloved routes. From New York, JetBlue will jet you to Santiago, Dominican Republic for only $139 one-way. Los Angelenos can book $129 flights to New York. Get from Chicago to Fort Lauderdale for $49. And flights from Fort Lauderdale to Nassau, Bahamas are only $39. The sale prices are only good on JetBlue’s cheapest fare (either Blue Basic or Blue, depending on the route) but all prices include government taxes and fees. If you’re planning on checking a bag, you’ll have to factor in a $35 fee for the first checked bag. Bruce Bennett/Staff If you’re looking for an easy, no-brainer getaway, JetBlue Vacations are also included in the sale. The packages include round-trip flights and a two-night hotel stay. New Yorkers can run away to Charleston for only $185 per person. From Boston, escape down to the Bahamas for $455 per person. Travelers in D.C. can book a vacation to San Juan for $429 per person.
