Rumor has it that 55 percent of Americans have been wasting vacation days: 658 million, to be specific. If you’re at risk for being one of them, consider planning a late summer or early fall trip to the Magic City.
For just over $100, you can fly to Miami from Philadelphia in September, or from Washington, D.C. anytime from September to November. These flights are operated by American Airlines and JetBlue, and won’t cost you more than $136.
New York and New Jersey-based travelers can take the trip between September and October, with United, for a cool $118.
Even as far away as Denver, Colorado, you can fly round-trip to Miami this August and September for $122. And if you’re based in Houston, you can take the same tropical trip to Florida for $146 round-trip, though travel dates are extremely limited.
Best of all? If you’re based in Florida and need a change of scenery, all of these flights can originate in Miami for the same low price.
