Flights to Hong Kong—the city of skyscrapers, a bustling harbor, and Taoist temples—are on sale, with round-trip tickets costing less than $500.

Travelers can score these low fares with a handful of major domestic airlines, including Delta and American Airlines. Departure dates range from September through October or November, depending on the departure city.

San Francisco currently boasts the best deal, with tickets on Delta for as little as $458.

Trips from Los Angeles, meanwhile, start as low as $472; those departing from Houston start at $487, and flights from New York City and Chicago are just under $500. Ticket from Boston are more expensive at $569, but still steeply discounted.

This isn’t the first time flights to China from the United States got more affordable. In May, Air Canada and Cathay Pacific offered round-trip flights to Hong Kong for $342. Asia, in general, has been more affordable than ever, with multi-city deals to destinations such as Taipei and Singapore costing as much, or less, than a two-way domestic flight.

Hong Kong was recently named the most expensive city for expats—making a flight deal like this crucial for saving cash to splurge on Hello Kitty-themed dim sum and the absolute best hotel rooms in the city.
