Delta Air Lines announced a massive airfare sale in honor of Canada’s 150th anniversary on Tuesday. Between June 27 and July 31, travelers can find discounted tickets to 11 major Canadian destinations starting at $109 one-way.
Travel dates are available between September 5 and December 20, and include trips to Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, Vancouver, and seven other cities across the Great White North.
“By putting our 11 great Canadian destinations on sale, we hope that Canadians and Americans alike will take advantage,” Delta’s director of sales in Canada, Steve Larkin, said in a statement.
Cheap fares to Canada aren’t the only way Delta is celebrating the country’s birthday. Delta’s in-flight Sky Magazine is featuring Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on the July cover, and travelers heading to or from Canada on July 1 will be treated to Canadian confections (think: maple crème cookies containing pure Canadian maple syrup).
Affordable flights are just one reason to take a trip to Canada this fall. For the entire year, Canada’s national parks will offer free admission in honor of the anniversary (and no, you don’t need to be Canadian to take advantage), and the country is celebrating with dozens of other events and celebrations throughout the year.
