Take a Trip Around the World for $1,263 This November
At Travel + Leisure, we’re vocal advocates of ditching Thanksgiving and using your time off to travel the world.
And this 18-day trip around the world for only $1,263 is a really good reason to skip dinner at Grandma’s this year.
The trip — a series of flight deals organized by the Airfare Spot — departs from New York City on November 14. Travelers will board a non-stop Norwegian Air flight to Paris ($149 one-way), and have nearly three days to explore the City of Light. As a bonus, November may be the absolute best time to visit Paris, when they city is full of beautiful Christmas markets and lines to the top attractions have thinned considerably.
On November 18, the trip continues to Abu Dhabi. You’ll have four days to not only explore Abu Dhabi (check out the Louvre Abu Dhabi, which will have just opened) but also to see Dubai. The entire region is known for their over-the-top malls, so be sure to pop into The Galleria, in Abu Dhabi, and the world’s largest, the Dubai Mall.
It’s easy to get around the United Arab Emirates — the drive from Abu Dhabi to Dubai is just an hour and a half, and there are also regularly scheduled buses between the two.
Your next flight leaves from Dubai International Airport on the evening of November 22. The $165 IndiGo Airlines flight lands in Singapore the next day.
Take an early morning Scoot flight from Singapore to Sydney ($149 for a non-stop trip), or extend your time in Singapore by spending more for a flight that departs later in the day.
On November 27, board a Jetstar Airways flight for Honolulu, Hawaii. It’s a non-stop flight, and it’s on sale for $289.
For nearly four days, you can explore the capital of Hawaii on the island of Oahu, which is known for blending cosmopolitan-cool with Hawaii’s immodest natural beauty.
And on November 30, you can return home with United and Alaska Airways for $359, or splurge on a $390 non-stop Hawaiian Airlines flight.
