A Norwegian airfare sale first announced last week by the Airfare Spot has just gotten even sweeter, with prices dropping as low as $303 for a round-trip flight to Barcelona.

Flights from New York City and Boston are available from January through March, and cost approximately $338 and $303, respectively. Meanwhile, travelers departing from California will see availability in January and February, with prices ranging from $367 from Oakland International Airport, and $401 from Los Angeles.

The Airfare Spot recommends booking flights in British pounds, allowing travelers to take advantage of the currency’s devaluation. Just be sure to use a travel-friendly credit card without foreign transaction fees.

Norwegian Air Shuttle’s fares do not include checked luggage, so travelers eager to keep costs low should limit their baggage to one smartly-packed carry-on and a personal item.

Whether you’re flying to Spain for a week or just a whirlwind long weekend, you’ll find no shortage of fun things to do in Barcelona. And the mild, Mediterranean weather will be a welcome reprieve from snowbirds fleeing the East Coast. Don’t miss the botanical gardens on the Montjuïc hillside, Antoni Gaudí’s whimsical (and Instagram-worthy) Park Güell, or the popular Bogatell and Barceloneta beaches.
