Visit 6 Cities Around the Planet for $1,380
Think of all the bucket list items you can check off on one trip.
If you’re more interested in globetrotting than lounging on a single beach for a week, check out the Airfare Spot’s latest around-the-world itinerary.
The site has crafted a trip to five incredible cities for only $1,300, for a 22-day vacation of epic proportions.
This intercontinental adventure departs on March 8, from New York City’s John F. Kennedy Airport. Just over six hours later, the non-stop Norwegian Air Shuttle flight will arrive in London. The cost is less than $200.
Five days is enough time to explore the sprawling British metropolis, including the secret streets in Hackney and charming Marlyebone. Travelers can keep things affordable by taking advantage of all the free things to do in London, like the nightly comedy shows in Camden and the Bermondsey Square Friday antiques market.
On March 13, a $96 Wizz Air flight takes travelers to Dubai. Note that this budget airline is notorious for its extra bag fees, so travelers who can travel light will have the best experience.
With only a few days in Dubai, make sure to see the highlights: the biggest shopping mall in the world, the world’s tallest building, and the recently-opened IMG Worlds of Adventure—the world’s largest indoor theme park.
Then there's a flight to Singapore on March 16 for $217. A 14-hour layover in Kochi, India, is an excellent opportunity to stretch your legs and check out the coastal state of Kerala. There's also a 5-hour layover in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. For something a bit more expedient, travelers can spend an extra $25 for a flight with a brief two-hour layover in Mumbai.
After a solid three days in Singapore, there's a $208 flight to Sydney. It’s a surprisingly swift non-stop flight with Scoot—a low-cost, long haul subsidiary of Singapore Airlines. Here, there's ample time to eat one's way across the continent, swim at Bondi Icebergs, and cuddle with wombats.
On March 24, a non-stop Jetstar flight will take travelers to Honolulu for less than $300. (Flight prices are fluctuating, but still a steal.)
And the price for the return trip to New York City with Hawaiian—five days after arriving in the Aloha State—has dropped to $359, including all fees and taxes.
