(The current hotel will remain fully open to guests throughout the renovation.) The updated Tommy Bahama Miramonte Resort & Spa will include a new restaurant concept and transformed bar experience alongside a new retail boutique and reimagined public spaces. Nick Tortajada/VRX Studios/Courtesy of Tommy Bahama The Tommy Bahama Miramonte Resort & Spa will offer 215 bespoke rooms, including 23 suites, some 35,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, three sprawling pools, and signature treatments at its massive 12,000-square-foot spa. Of course, every inch of the resort will get the full Tommy Bahama treatment, so guests can expect plenty of laid-back charm, colorful prints, and an all-around leisurely retreat that you’ll leave feeling rejuvenated. Nick Tortajada/VRX Studios/Courtesy of Tommy Bahama “This is a natural progression of the Tommy Bahama brand,” Doug Wood, CEO of Tommy Bahama, shared in a statement provided to Travel + Leisure. “We have been talking about the idea of a Tommy Bahama resort for decades and believe that our brand’s aesthetic, successful $100-million food and beverage business, and guest feedback support our brand’s evolution into new areas of the hospitality industry. The Tommy Bahama Miramonte Resort & Spa is a great way for us to extend our brand and give our guests the resort experience they are looking for.” Nick Tortajada/VRX Studios/Courtesy of Tommy Bahama To bring the vision to life, Tommy Bahama is partnering with Lowe, a commercial real estate investment company and operator that's been working in the Coachella Valley for 50 years.
