Shark Fans: Watch 'JAWS' While Floating on an Innertube in a Lake
This weekend, the famous Alamo Drafthouse invited particularly adventurous movie-goers to watch "JAWS" in an especially frightening venue: on the water. To celebrate the blockbuster's 40th anniversary—and Shark Week, unofficially—the theater is hosting an outdoor screening—but this isn't the first time they've done this. The venue has been inciting fear into thrill-seeking fans with these floating shows since 2002.
The movie theater is well-known for their policy on talking and texting (proof), but even the most respectful of watchers wouldn't be able to help but quip up with a well-timed "Shark!" in this setting. The next showing will take place this Saturday. Tickets are $30, which includes an innertube. For more information on how to get a ticket, head on over to the Alamo Drafthouse website.
