Travel + Leisure Editorial Guidelines Published on April 9, 2020 Share Tweet Pin Email If you’re spending time binge watching your favorite show on Netflix, you can also make a little money while you’re at it. People across the country are spending nearly all their time at home (other than necessary grocery and pharmacy runs) in order to combat the spread of coronavirus. That obviously means one thing: We’re spending way more time than ever watching Netflix. Sure, there's lots of guilty-pleasure content steaming on Netflix right now, but one show seems to stand out above the rest as the one that most people keep going back to, again and again and again. That show is The Office, of course. This early 2000’s TV comedy classic has a lot of passionate fans out there, and now there is a way for those passionate fans to finally reap some rewards for their fandom. Overheard on Conference Calls, a career and work-life advice website, is looking for the ultimate fan to host an online watch party of their favorite Office episodes with their friends. Justin Lubin/NBCNBCU Photo Bank The perfect candidate is someone who is over 18, who obviously loves The Office (and has friends who love it too), and has the ability to host a remote watching party (think: Hangouts, Zoom, FaceTime, Skype). Naturally, the site is not encouraging people to get together in person since most are under stay-at-home orders. The chosen candidate will have to pick their favorite 15 episodes of The Office and watch them with friends, remotely, over the course of a week. Watch parties must have at least two additional people. After the episode, watchers will be asked to fill out worksheets and share their experience on social media. In return, the site is offering a $1,000 stipend and a Netflix gift card. Plus, it’s just a fun way to connect with your friends and family during these uncertain times. In order to be considered, fill out the online application on the Overheard on Conference Calls website. Applications are open until April 27. Was this page helpful? Thanks for your feedback!
