You don't even have to leave home to take in some of the world's eeriest sights this Halloween. Google Street View—which previously hosted a virtual safari in Kenya and a peek inside one of British Airways' ultra-luxe planes—pulled digital tours together for six of the creepiest places on Earth. Views of the abandoned Bodie State Park, the decaying dolls of Isla de las Muñecas, Louisiana's infamous 13th Gate Haunted House, the bedroom inside of Dracula's Castle, the movie-famous bar at The Stanley Hotel, or the industrial wasteland that is Japan's Battleship Island are available for thrill-seekers and world explorers.

On the other side of things, this could also be appealing for those who want to celebrate Halloween without the actual "scaring" part. You can get safer than from taking in the spooky sites miles away and behind a screen, right?
