Michael Jackson's Neverland Is Back on the Market
Sycamore Valley Ranch, as it's now being called, includes a 12,500-square-foot residence on a 2,700-acre property in Los Olivos, California, just north of the Danish village Solvang and less than an hour's drive from Santa Barbara.
Jackson had sold the property prior to his death for $22.5 million, according to the Associated Press.
The ranch offers “quintessential California beauty and rare privacy,” according to the real estate listing. The $67-million price tag is down from $100 million, which the property was listed for in 2016.
Neverland Ranch
The property is famous from when Michael Jackson lived here.

Los Olivos
The town of Los Olivos is very near Solvang, a Danish village that attracts tourists—and near Buellton, which has a locally famous restaurant for split pea soup.

Sycamore Valley Ranch
Jackson sold the property before his death. It has been renamed, from Neverland Ranch to Sycamore Valley Ranch, although some features remain intact.

California Ranch
The style is “quintessential California,” according to the realtor. And the interiors do have that ranch quality so tied to the region—it's almost like the (fake) house from “The Parent Trap.” (The original with Brian Keith.)

2,700 Acres
With 2,700 acres—and a surrounding region free of the stereotypical southern California congestion—there's plenty of privacy.

A Big Price Tag
But then, $67 million ought to get you all the privacy you want.

Idyll
Someone in Santa Barbara, at some point, declared the region the American Riviera. Although Los Olivos is not on the coast, there is an idyllic Mediterranean quality to the environment (although the water is much colder).

Outdoor Living
The property offers plenty of motivation for enjoying California's mild climate.

Movie Theater
In case you're looking to never go back to civilization again, there's a 50-seat movie theater on the property. (Although we'd recommend watching something slightly more entertaining than imagery of the property itself. “The Wiz,” perhaps?)

Water Features
There are ponds and pools.

The Valley
According to the real estate listing, the property was “named for the majestic sycamore trees that populate the landscape, along with magnificent oaks, distinctive rolling hills, pastoral vistas and exquisite manicured grounds.”

French-Normandy Meets California Ranch
Although there's something very California about the property and architecture, it was designed in a French-Normandy style by award-winning architect Robert Altevers, of Altevers Associates, for builder William Bone.
