Chris Malloy Chris Malloy is an award-winning writer who grew up outside of Philadelphia and currently lives in Arizona’s Sonoran Desert. After earning graduate degrees in law and food studies, he started his writing career in New York City. He writes a range of nonfiction including news, personal essays, criticism, and experimental work but his specialty is narrative feature writing. Chris spent over three years as the food critic at Phoenix New Times.
