Brightline currently operates between West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, and Miami. The one-way trip from Boca Raton to Miami will take just under an hour, according to the schedule on the Brightline website, "It's time! Now accepting bookings to ride to and from Aventura and Boca Raton beginning December 21," Brightline announced on Twitter on Thursday. "Where are you heading first?" A press release revealed introductory, one-way fares are now available for as low as $10 on Brightline's website. Floridians and frequent visitors to the state have been looking forward to the expansion of Brightline since it launched in 2018. In fact, one couple loves the service so much that they were recently married on one of the rail company's trains. However, the biggest development on the horizon is the upcoming extension to Orlando in 2023. The train line got one step closer to getting there when it welcomed two new trains to its fleet back in July. "These trains, and our entire fleet, are built with the consumer in mind. They are modern, eco-friendly, and equipped with conveniences such as high-speed Wi-Fi and plug-in connections at every seat," Michael Cegelis, Brightline's executive vice president of development and construction, said in a press release earlier this year. In the meantime, the initial schedule for the new Aventura and Boca Raton stations will focus on weekday morning and evening commuter service. The rail company will also offer northbound and southbound service approximately every other hour. Regular service will still continue in West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, and Miami. Interested travelers are also encouraged to check detailed schedule information on the Brightline website. Was this page helpful? Thanks for your feedback! Tell us why! Other Submit
