Glittering lights, high-kicking Rockettes, and ice-skating tourists and native New Yorkers—there’s truly nothing like Manhattan for the holidays. With the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade behind us, last night marked a different kind of New York tradition—the 82nd annual Rockefeller Center Tree Lighting.

By following #RockCenterXMAS@rockcenternyc, and @nyc (who captured moments with an iPhone6), we’ve collected our favorite moments from the evening.  In case you want to see the tree live, it’ll remain lit and open to the public until January 7, 2015.
