This Company Will Pay You to Take a 2-year Road Trip to More Than 500 Breweries Across North America

The first-ever 'AleBlazer' has a lot of work ahead of them.

Love road trips? Love frosty microbrews? Harvest Hosts is looking for you.

On Thursday, Harvest Hosts, a membership program and the largest provider of private RV camping options in the world, announced it’s hiring its first-ever AleBlazer. What’s an AleBlazer, you ask? It’s a person who will set out to design North America’s Ultimate Ale Trail, visiting more than 500 brewery and distillery locations over two years.

As part of the job, the AleBlazer will spend one night at each location and help capture the unique experience of traveling with Harvest Hosts by leaving a review for each spot and documenting their travels on social media. In the end, they’ll compile the best of the best destinations into the Ale Trail, so future travelers can follow their path.

“Harvest Hosts’ mission is to help millions of people live happier lives through road travel while supporting outstanding small businesses and communities,” a spokesperson for the company shared in a statement provided to Travel + Leisure. “Hundreds of breweries and distilleries have joined Harvest Hosts’ network of alternative camping solutions and are seeing the impact of being part of this unique program. Our AleBlazer will be expected to uphold Harvest Hosts’ mission of uplifting small businesses across North America as they embark on this scenic journey.”

Want to apply for this dream job? You must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive an RV, be 21 or older, and provide proof that you love breweries and distilleries just as much as the Harvest Hosts staff.

As for compensation, there will be plenty of free beer, an RV loaned for the duration of the trip, as well as a daily $50 stipend, and, of course, a lifetime Harvest Hosts membership. It's important to note that this dream job needs to be taken on responsibly; The intent, as outlined in the job posting, is to drive to a new destination each day, then try the beers and stay the night, before continuing your road trip the next day.

To apply, submit your application, including two to three photos of your experience tasting beer and taking road trips and a single paragraph detailing your road trip architecting abilities, here.
