Steph Cha Steph Cha is an award-winning fiction writer and food critic. Her most recent book, “Your House Will Pay,” won the Los Angeles Times Book Prize and the California Book Award. Steph grew up in Encino, California, and is a graduate of Stanford University and Yale Law School. Along with her books, she has published freelance book reviews and food writing for the Los Angeles Times (serving as a restaurant scout for Pulitzer Prize-winning food critic Jonathan Gold), USA Today, and the Los Angeles Review of Books, for which she served as an editor. She is the current series editor of the "Best American Mystery & Suspense" anthology.
