Sarah Z. Wexler is a freelance writer and editor with more than 15 years of experience in the food, travel, and lifestyle spaces. She was an associate editor at Food Network Magazine, an assistant editor at Marie Claire, and a staff writer at Allure magazine before embarking on a freelance writing career, and then, eventually, a full-time role as the editorial director for Nike. Her work has been published in New York magazine, The Washington Post Magazine, Glamour, InStyle, Vanity Fair, Self, and Martha Stewart Living. Today, when she’s not tutoring at Portland’s Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization or chasing her toddler around, Sarah is running her company, Flamingo Communications, an agency poised to help non-profits and brands with marketing and storytelling. She partners with companies like the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, HereTogether (supporting homelessness services), and Mom Box.
