Raisa Bruner is a journalist, anthropologist, and pop culture enthusiast. She is a staff writer at Time magazine, where she has worked for more than six years. Her work has also appeared in Travel + Leisure, the Boston Herald, Coastal Living, Food & Wine, and more. Raisa began her journalism career while at Yale, where she was an editor and reporter for campus newspapers The Yale Globalist and Yale Daily News. She completed a summer internship at ABC News, where she assisted with research for investigative segments and wrote original articles for the ABC News website. After working in a number of marketing roles, Raisa returned to her reporting roots as a viral news reporter for Time. In 2019, she was promoted to her current position as a staff writer, where she covers everything from cryptocurrencies to NFT art collectors.
