Lola Augustine Brown is a Nova Scotia-based writer and editor. With tales of Prince Edward Island to Newfoundland and beyond, Lola’s work can be found in The Guardian, Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), National Geographic Traveler, the Toronto Star, Travel + Leisure, and Today's Parent. She is a regular editor for Fodor’s guidebooks and National Geographic’s content lab in London. She also works on projects for Guardian Labs, Globe Content Studio, Hemispheres, American Way, WestJet Magazine, Today's Parent, and many other websites, newspapers, and magazines. As the managing editor of, Lola was responsible for content strategy, site design, and launch, as well as writing travel features and producing slideshow and custom videos for clients.
