Kiera Wright-Ruiz Kiera Wright-Ruiz graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in journalism before launching into the world of content creation and social media. With a concentration on food, Kiera worked her way into a role as a writer at Foodbeast, a food blogger for OC Weekly, and the social media manager for Food.com, where she created "Next Level Eats," a premier social-first food series. As a former social media editor for NYT Cooking, Kiera launched a Facebook group and a YouTube channel for the publication, produced videos for Instagram stories, and wrote, tested, and developed new recipes. She also held the role of social media manager for Dig, a company that connects sustainable farmers and food producers to consumers. As a freelance writer, Kiera’s work has been featured in The New York Times, MSN, BuzzFeed, Salon, The Japan Times, Travel + Leisure, The Denver Post, Serious Eats, Food52, and The Kitchn, where she shares recipes and writes about food-centric locales.
