Kate Maxwell Kate Maxwell has more than two decades of experience writing and editing travel magazines in the U.S. and the U.K. She began her career as Word of Mouth editor for Condé Nast Traveller (U.K.). After moving to New York City, she became the editor-in-chief of Jetsetter in 2011. She later joined Condé Nast Traveler as an articles editor for four years and continued contributing as the Europe editor after moving back to London in 2013. Since then, she has also served as the group editorial director for Soho House and worked on the content marketing team at Facebook. In 2022, Kate published her debut novel, “Hush,” which was shortlisted for the Bridport Prize Peggy Chapman-Andrews Award.
