Jamie Quatro Website Jamie Quatro writes fiction and non-fiction works pertaining to travel, faith, relationships, and sex. She’s a runner by nature, but an escape artist by trade, as her books take readers out of their everyday life and into a sometimes erotic account of another’s. Her writing in the book “I want to show you more” — a collection of short stories — has been compared to that of Flannery O'Connor and George Saunders, and her debut novel, “Fire Sermon,” was named Book of the Year by the San Francisco Chronicle, LitHub, Bloomberg, and the Times Literary Supplement. Jamie teaches creative writing at the Sewanee School of Letters and at the residential Kenyon Review Writers Workshop. For Travel + Leisure, Jamie wrote about her multi-day excursion through the Grand Canyon with her brother, a trip that took to her to depths few visitors ever go. Jamie lives with her husband and family in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where she carefully crafts the narratives for some of her most provocative stories.• Author of two award-winning books• Teaches creative writing at the Sewanee School of Letters and at the Kenyon Review Writers Workshop About Travel + Leisure Travel + Leisure, a Dotdash Meredith Brand, is a top travel media brand with a mission to inform and inspire passionate travelers.
