Christine Negroni

Christine Negroni is an aviation and travel journalist whose work has appeared in The New York Times, Air & Space, Travel + Leisure, The Washington Post, and other publications. She is the author of two books, “Deadly Departure" (2000) and the New York Times best-seller “The Crash Detectives: Investigating The World's Most Mysterious Air Disasters" (2016). She is an on-camera contributor for ABC News and writes the aviation-themed blog Flying Lessons. Originally from Miami, Christine began her journalism career in 1978 as an on-camera broadcast journalist. She was a correspondent at the CBS bureaus in Atlanta, New York City, and Chicago from 1988 to 1991 and worked for CNN in New York City from 1993 to 1999. After publishing her first book in 2000, Christine began contributing travel stories to newspapers, magazines, and broadcast publications. She has won numerous awards for her work and is a frequent panelist and moderator for many organizations, including the International Air Transport Association. When she’s not on the road, she lives in New York City.
