Celeste Moure Celeste Moure is a Vancouver-based freelance writer and editor. Originally from Buenos Aires, she got her first passport at three years old and has lived in 10 cities across seven countries on five continents. After earning her bachelor’s degree in English literature in Massachusetts, Celeste moved to Chicago and worked at The Chicago Tribune before relocating to Los Angeles to embrace the California lifestyle. While there, she worked as a digital producer at Sony Pictures, produced events for the LA County Museum of Art (LACMA), and then worked at various digital companies before the online bubble burst. Her first big travel writing break came when a Condé Nast Traveler editor commissioned her to write a piece on European music festivals for the magazine. In 2007, she packed again and moved to Canada, where she has lived ever since. Covering everything from adventure travel to pop culture, she has contributed to The New York Times, National Geographic Traveler, Travel + Leisure, Outside, Real Simple, Vogue, Maxim, The Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times, Wallpaper, and many other publications. In addition to her freelance writing, she currently works as a senior content designer at Microsoft.
