She has contributed to Travel + Leisure, Coastal Living, Modern Luxury, USA Today, Islands, Southern Living, Cooking Light, Better Homes & Gardens, and many more. Alison honed her culinary journalism skills as a food editor at Southern Living, where she oversaw everything from taste testing to food photography. In 2002, she left the magazine to launch her own food media company, Ingredients, Inc., and raise her three kids. She has since worked with top brands like Ritz Carlton, Mariott, Whole Foods, General Mills, SC Johnson, Nike, and more. She lives in Birmingham, Alabama.
