Learn to Sing Holiday Songs With a Star of Broadway's ‘The Lion King’
Broadway star Stephen Carlile wants to help you sing your heart out this holiday season.
It’s just not the holidays without some caroling.
The holidays and music go hand in hand. If you’re one of those people who turns on the Christmas music on Nov. 1, learning to sing some of those classics with a real Broadway star might just be up your alley.
Stephen Carlile, who plays Scar in The Lion King on Broadway, will help you spread holiday cheer through song with his Airbnb Online Experience.
“I'm excited to be able to bring a dash of Broadway magic through this online experience –– live from my home on 42nd Street straight to wherever you are,” Carlile wrote in his class description. “We will learn a song and sing together. In my opinion there is no better way to feel connected and JOYFUL.”
In this one-hour experience, Carlile will lead students through a warm up while also sharing his best singing tips and tricks while singing holiday standards. Even if you’re a pure beginner or a music professional yourself, you can’t get better vocal instruction than from someone who sings all day, every day for his job.
In addition, Carlile will share his personal journey to the Broadway stage, from his childhood in West England to finally making it to the Great White Way. There will also be a Q&A session where he’ll divulge some Broadway secrets that only the professionals know.
This experience is great for individuals or just for fun, but it’s also a great team-building exercise for private groups, too.
Experience times are fairly flexible, with most availability on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays in the afternoons and evenings.
Bookings for this experience cost $50 per person, or a private group rate (up to 30 people) for $500. Availability for private groups is separate from general booking.
