Let the good times roll without leaving your home.

Airbnb launched a number of incredible, informative, and entertaining online experiences as a result of the coronavirus outbreak, and now there’s an online course that will not only get you off the couch, but also show you some sweet moves.

Airbnb now has a Rollerskating Dance Party class taught by a skating expert in New York City. In the class the instructor, Tanya Dean, shows you how to do some fun dance moves on classic roller skates. Dean is also the founder of Skaterobics in New York City and the author of “The Power of The S.K.A.T.E.”

“Movement is medicine,” Tanya writes on the Airbnb listing. This class is designed to teach you how to dance and rollerskate at the same time while also staying fit and relieving stress.

You might think that teaching rollerskating would be next to impossible to do online, but according to the class listing, all you need is your own pair of skates and an area of at least six feet by six feet that is free of obstacles. It is also recommended that you wear protective gear like a helmet, wrist guards, knee pads, and elbow pads as well. Safety first!

Dean’s class is available for groups of up to 10 people at a time and is entirely in English. Classes are currently being held once a week, on Friday evenings, and cost $25 per person.

Just think of how cool you’ll look rolling on the rink (or park) — once everyone is allowed to go outside that is. Until then, you’ll just have to practice your sweet skate moves in the comfort of your own home.
