Take a mesmerizing walking tour through the city.

A new timelapse and hyperlapse video from Ukrainian photographer Kirill Neiezhmakov takes you on an incredible walking tour through Rome.

In less than three minutes, the cinematic work weaves you through the “Eternal City’s” most famous landmarks, its historic past, and the scenic areas you’ll want to head to when it’s time to relax.

“Rome is synonymous with history,” Neiezhmakov wrote on a YouTube post. “Where else can you walk in the same footsteps as the Caesars St. Peter, the Popes, Michelangelo, Dante, and Raphael to name a few?”

And it’s perfect to explore by foot.

“The real charm of Rome is that you can easily walk to most sites,” Neiezhmakov said of Italy’s largest city, which he referred to as Europe’s largest open-air museum.

Take a look at the video, shot using two Canon 60D DSLR cameras and a Canon 70D, as you wind through the city’s cobbled streets and glorious piazzas, all while taking in famed landmarks like the Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, and the Sistine Chapel.

You’ll also see mesmerizing shots of the city illuminated at night, while daytime clips take you through lush hills and panoramic views.
