For those who have, the Buckingham Palace is now looking for its new Assistant Anniversaries Officer, whose role will be "sending congratulations that are never forgotten."
According to the Mirror, the Queen has sent more than one million congratulations messages for special occasions ranging from birthdays to anniversaries, with the Assistant Anniversaries Officer standing in as a link between the Queen and the public to produce these “messages that mean so much to so many people.”
“Your challenge will be to remain focused whilst processing a large number of requests for messages, ensuring that the right response is delivered at exactly the right time,” states the position posting on the Royal Household website.
Candidates for the role should have IT experience and skills, in addition to being able to meet deadlines and ideally have experience with database systems. The role pays 21,000 British pounds (roughly $24,459) per year, and includes 33 days of annual leave, free lunch, and a comprehensive benefits package that comes with a 15 percent employer contribution pension.
