If you love listening to music under the stars, picnicking at Shakespeare in the Park or snacking on Cracker Jack at baseball games, summer is the season for you. And if live events are your favorite, you might want to plan a trip to Las Vegas.
Or Boston, Atlanta, or even Cleveland, because they’re all among the top 10 cities in the United States that are hosting the most live events this summer.
StubHub, an online site where people can buy and resell event tickets, has released a list of the cities with the most live events per capita for the summer season, from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
According to StubHub, the hottest tickets in each town include Red Sox baseball in Boston, Garth Brooks & Trisha Yearwood in Vegas, Metallica in Minneapolis, and Beyoncé in Pittsburgh.
Soccer — or football, as the rest of the world calls it — is also growing in popularity in the U.S. Major League Soccer tickets are getting harder to come by in Seattle and Washington, D.C., as well as in cities that are hosting the COPA America, which is being held in the U.S. this year.
Other popular events, according to Stubhub, include touring musicals like Chicago and The Lion King, and Cirque du Soleil. And as the political season heats up, comedian Bill Maher is a hot ticket from Vegas to Boston to Cleveland.
