Watch: Visit 13 Stunning Sites in Iceland Without Leaving Your Seat
Garðar Ólafsson says it best: "Iceland is such an amazing country that everyone should witness with their own eyes." To help those who have never been—or travelers who have and want to relive its beauty—the Iceland-based photographer put together a months-in-the-making video featuring some of the country's most picturesque locations. In the five-minute video, you'll be transported through 13 different Icelandic destinations: Mount Kirkjufell, the village of Vík í Mýrdal, the site of the Sólheimasandur plane crash, Sandvík village, the Straumsvík coastal springs, Seljalandsfoss waterfall, Goðafoss waterfall, Aldeyjafoss waterfall, the Hólmbergsviti lighthouse, Garðskagi lighthouse, Hvalsneskirkja church, Miðnesheiði village, and Vatnsnes peninsula.
Titled "Powerful Iceland," the video is shot from the air—paired with ultra-calming music, this makes for what might possibly be the most calming travel itenerary out there. See for yourself:
