Where did you go on your honeymoon?Have you been back?
In August 1967, Maui's Lahaina had one dirt road running through the center of town, and the only major hotel on the island was the Sheraton. We walked, picnicked, and swam nude at Kaanapali Beach. We love visiting all the Hawaiian Islands, but Maui continues to be the best.
My husband and I traveled to Holland and Belgium two years ago in May. We are already planning to return this October. With any luck, the only difference we will notice is the change of season.
Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
In 1953, my wife and I honeymooned in Vienna, when it was in the Russian Zone. We have revisited it many times; over the years, the standard of living-- and the prices-- have gone up 100 percent. The bombed-out State Opera house is now rebuilt and more beautiful than ever.
We went to Bermuda after our wedding, and our sons and daughters just surprised us with a return trip for our anniversary! It was more developed, but lovely. Trimingham's still has wonderful cashmere sweaters and perfumes.

I spent a week one April taking photos of my bride amid the cherry blossoms in Washington, D.C. We later returned with three kids in tow and discovered the historical monuments. They must have been there on the first trip, but I failed to see them. Distracted, no doubt!
We sailed the Grenadines, stopping in Mustique to check out the famous "jump-up" at Basil's Bar. Some years later, we went back to find the club still going strong-- our only disappointment was that Mick Jagger, a Basil's regular, wasn't in attendance.
New York, N.Y.
