In Photos: The Royal Family’s Adorable Ski Trip to the French Alps
Travel goals: family vacation with Kate, Will, Charlotte, and George.
How’s this for travel inspiration? The Royal Family today released snaps of Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince George, and Princess Charlotte enjoying a winter vacation to the French Alps. The official portraits, taken by the Press Association’s royal photographer John Stillwell, show the young family posing together in snowsuits and even engaging in a snowball fight.
“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to share new photographs of their family, enjoying a short skiing holiday with their children in the French Alps,” says a Kensington Palace spokesperson. “This was their first holiday as a family of four and the first time either of the children had played in the snow. It was very special and fun short holiday for the family, and they are grateful that John Stillwell was able to capture the moment so well.”
The exact location of their getaway has been kept under wraps, but it’s no secret that both the Duke and Duchess are avid skiers and have been photographed hitting the slopes in Austria and Switzerland. The Palace also refused to comment on whether the family, including two-year-old George and 10-month-old Charlotte flew private or commercial. But, they added, "The Duke and Duchess hope people enjoy the photos."
