T+L Reports: Shops with Spas
You don't need to go far to recover after you shop till you drop. Gianfranco Ferré has welcomed E'SPA, the British spa gurus, into his recently opened Milan boutique (15 Via Sant'Andrea, Milan; 39-02/7601-7526). A discreet door leads to a parallel universe of meditation gardens and a mosaic vitality pool for holistic treatments. • Nearby, Dolce & Gabbana (15 Corso Venezia, Milan; 39-02/7640-8888) has introduced Grooming, a tiny, white-marble day spa offering lymphatic drainage massage and Carita Pro-Lift facials to help women (and men) glow. • In London, Harrods (87-135 Brompton Rd.; 44-207/893-8333) has transformed its Urban Retreat, a once-frumpy salon, into a full-scale spa that uses Crème de la Mer treatments. • Closer to home, L.A.'s fashion mecca Fred Segal (420 Broadway, Santa Monica; 310/451-5155) has launched a beauty center that takes treatments—laser hair removal, micro-dermabrasion—as seriously as the store does clothes. The new space is a celebrity hit. The most popular service?Botox, of course.
