Visitors ready to revel in New York City’s abundant shopping opportunities get a special treat this week: the chance to buy a bespoke suit from a famous tailor from London. Richard James, the award-winning Savile Row designer, is offering custom shirt and suit appointments to guests of the Langham Place on Fifth Avenue through May 15.

Guests at the hotel who sign up for the Langham Place, Savile Row Package get more than just accommodations—they also receive a 10 percent discount on custom tailoring for a suit cut from an individual pattern and pieced together by hand.

If they select the made-to-measure service, which falls somewhere between bespoke and ready-to-wear, they’ll receive a free pair of slacks. Prices for the promotion start at $845 and appointments are first-come, first-served.
