According to Playbill, we can all look forward to a new musical featuring the world's favorite super spy. James Bond: The Musical has been confirmed as a thing that is going to happen, but not much past that has been revealed. The on-stage production will have its own storyline, pulling inspiration from Ian Fleming's original 14-novel series. Never fear: the plot is in good hands. Merry Saltzman—the daughter of Bond film producer Haryy Saltzman—works with the company, Placeholder Productions, that secured the broadway rights to the character.

The word is that the show will make an appearance in late 2017-early 2018 on Broadway or in Las Vegas. The cast has yet to be announced. The most interesting thing to look forward to: the musical is going to introduce its own Bond Girl.
