DRT Nation—a group that "make[s] videos of people Doing Ridiculous Things" (hence the acronym)—recently shot footage of a fireworks show that puts all of our smartphone images and videos to shame. Over the 4th of July weekend, DRT sent a drone off on a mission to take in a sights from above. While we can't tell exactly where the display took place, most of us can relate given that July 4th fireworks displays are an expected festivity—after all, Americans were expected to spend $710 million on celebratory explosives over the holiday weekend, according to the National Retail Foundation.
