Here’s a First Look at Disneyland in Shanghai
It's set to open in the spring of 2016
Disneyland is coming to Shangai.
The Walt Disney Company unveiled plans on Wednesday for its new resort and theme park, which includes attractions based on Pirates of the Caribbean and TRON, along with a version of the company’s forward-looking Tomorrowland.
It’s not the first Disneyland in China—a smaller version opened in Hong Kong in 2005—but with six themed areas, two hotels, multiple live performance venues and the largest-ever Disney castle, it’s set to be country’s grandest, the New York Times reports. See more mock-ups of what the park will look like when it opens next spring over at Disney’s website.
