At the International Spy Museum (800 F St. NW; 202/393-7798;, opening July 19 in Washington, D.C., each visitor receives a false identity—forget the details, and you might be "detained." Learn about espionage moves in the spy school exhibit and brush up on key para- phernalia (warning: there's poison in that umbrella). Then reconnoiter at the Spy City Café or Zola restaurant.
