Coco Chanel once said, “Luxury must be comfortable, otherwise it is not luxury.” Embodying this sentiment—and the couturier’s legacy—is the Ritz Paris. The iconic Place Vendôme hotel recently announced plans to open the Chanel au Ritz Paris, a spa in the Ritz Club dedicated to the luxury brand’s line of skincare.  It will be first for the fashion label. Though the opening date has not been revealed, the Ritz is expected to reopen its doors later this year.

This isn’t the first of the hotel’s nods to Mademoiselle Chanel. Travelers had the opportunity to book the Coco Chanel Suite, the residence that she called her home for 34 years. With the addition of the spa to the Ritz Paris, it looks like luxury just got a lot more comfortable.
