A recent video from Boeing proves that airplanes aren’t just about getting you from Point A to Point B. A 787-9 Dreamliner's rehearsal for the upcoming Paris Air Show—June 15-21, aircraft fans—turned into a stunning 3-minute video showing off acrobatic banks and dips we didn’t know a commercial plane could pull off.

The most impressive trick was the seemingly near-vertical takeoff. Pilots and other aviation professionals have had their own opinions on whether or not the acsent was truly as impressive as it seems or just a trick of camera angles, but the stomach-drop-inducing aerial footage of the stunt speaks for itself.
